This mask is great for dry skin. Matcha green tea is full of antioxidants and detoxes your skin and the avocado is deeply nourishing and moisturising. Oatmeal is fantastic for sensitive skin because of its anti- inflammatory properties soothing irritation and inflammation. Finally glorious honey, the benefits for our skin of honey are vast, moisturising, it fights the free radicals so prevents the signs of ageing, its full of antioxidants, its anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties to protect your skin from environmental damage and even help heal wounds, rashes and fight off skin infections.
Half a ripe Avocado
3 Teaspoons of Matcha Green Tea
2 Teaspoons of Oatmeal
2 Teaspoons of Runny Honey
Mash the half an avocado in a bowl and then stir in your matcha tea, oatmeal to make a paste. Finally add your honey. I like my masks to be quite firm but if you like them a little looser then add more honey.
Finally spread all over your face and neck and leave for 10 minutes to let the wonderful ingredients work their magic.
Remove with warm water and finally apply a moisturiser. We recommend using our #3 Everyday Moisturiser with Green Tea Extract to complete your mini facial spa treat.
